Consigning: Preparing Your Items

The key to successfully sell is preperation. The better your items look, the more you can charge.

  • Be sure all items are season appropriate.
  • All clothing should be in very good condition – no holes, tears or excessive wear.
  • All buttons, snaps and zippers should be in good working order.
  • All clothing must be on plastic hangers. No wire hangers (you can call the store regarding availability of hangers).
  • Clothing should be hung on the hanger making a question mark “?”.
  • Toys or equipment that require batteries must have them.
  • Toys, games, equipment, cribs, etc…must have all of their pieces, be clean, and not be out of date.
  • Equipment such as cribs can be sold assembled, or apart. It is suggested that if an item is not assembled that you attach a picture.
  • All DVDs must be in their original cover. NO VHS
  • No plush toys or stuffed animals will be accepted.
  • If you are selling a car seat, the Car Seat Checklist Form must be completed, printed, signed, and attached to your car seat at the time of the resale. All car seats will be inspected by our staff for compliance.
